Something witty this way comes.

Halloween - How do you say it?

How do you say Halloween? Does the "hallow" part of the word rhyme with "shallow" or with "hollow". This is an important issue in the Bennett household. (And I don't care what the dictionary says. What do you say?)

Well I'm a southerner... The way I say it rhymes with "shallow". Both sound correct to me, however. My wife is from Seattle and I think she says it the same as me.

I just realized that some people probably say shallow and hollow the same way? :)

I say potato. We say it like 'shallow' here in East Ohio/Western PA. Of course, we talk like this - http://noolmusic.com/videos/pants_nat_donnie_iris.php
